If I drive like a bat out of hell, I get 15mpg. It does not matter how I drive, I get 15mpg (i.e. often times when backing up slowly, I will get a shuddering, it is audible and tactile typically when first taking off, and when shifting into 2nd gear while cruising around a parking lot. at low speeds/rpms, I will get some clutch chatter. I did not know that at the time, but do now. It did not used to happen).Īuthor's Commentary: It is normal behavior to be able to shift from fifth to reverse when the vehicle is not in motion. This is also the most current oddity to popup (i.e. I can put it in 5th and drop it right down into reverse) These lockouts (and lack of lockout) are not consistent.
